Job summary

Responsibilities include budgeting, data tracking, and coordination with senior management to align policies. A bilingual background and CPR/First Aid certification are valued assets for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• Six college credit hours in management.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Two years of experience in the Head Start or related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish desirable.
• Texas driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Head Start centers.
• Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with Head Start standards and policies.
• Maintain and oversee budgets, data reporting, and contract tracking.
• Supervise Head Start staff and support Parent, Family and Community Engagement.
• Collaborate with senior management to align program policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe, healthy learning environment and timely communications with stakeholders.
• Recordkeeping, attendance, purchasing, and supply management responsibilities.
