Qualifikationen

• CDA credential or comparable credential required and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in Early Child Development with a focus in infant/toddler development.
• Associate's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred (9 college hours in related area).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children birth to five in a licensed child-care facility.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

• Maintains a calm, safe classroom and playground that reflects cultural diversity and developmental appropriateness.
• Ensures safety through supervision, proper space, equipment, and emergency drills.
• Develops lesson plans meeting individual needs and varying abilities.
• Incorporates Head Start Performance Standards in instruction.
• Assists children with self-help skills and daily activities in a nurturing environment.
• Operates in compliance with licensing standards and avoids any physical punishment.
• Maintains clean, stimulating classrooms aligned with NAEYC standards.
• Documents children's records across content areas.
