Job summary

Enrichment Services Program, Inc. is seeking an EHS Teacher to establish, maintain, and manage developmentally appropriate classroom activities aligned with Head Start Performance Standards.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, child-centric interaction, and collaborative planning with families. The ideal candidate has CDA/TCC, or higher degrees in ECE, with progressive responsibilities from EHS Teacher I to III.

Qualifications

• EHS Teacher requires: TCC and/or CDA.
• EHS Teacher I requires: Associates Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA with Associates Degree.
• EHS Teacher II requires: Bachelors Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA with Bachelors Degree.
• EHS Teacher III requires: Masters Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA with Masters Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and manage classroom activities to meet Head Start Performance Standards.
• Maintain confidentiality about issues concerning staff, children, and families.
• Interact with children in a friendly, calm, and respectful manner.
• Record observations using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
• Develop daily lesson plans and schedules; organize learning centers.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• Recruits volunteers and solicits in-kind contributions.
• Ensure safety, health, and nutritional practices.
• Monitor child-to-staff ratios at all times.

Education

TCC and/or CDA

Associates Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA

Bachelor's Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA

Masters Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA
