Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida, Inc. seeks a Mentor Coach to provide on-site coaching for Head Start teachers and assistants, including classroom observations, demonstrations, feedback, and analysis of child outcomes data.

The role focuses on improving teacher-child interactions and school readiness through targeted professional development. The position supports program goals, ensures culturally responsive practices, and coordinates staff trainings, meetings, and supervision in collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in ECE or related field with 18 ECE hours.
• Certificate/Training requirements as listed in Education section.
• Must obtain Florida Driver License and be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site coaching for Head Start teachers and assistants.
• Conduct classroom observations and demonstrations with feedback.
• Analyze CLASS data and support staff development through trainings.
• Assist in program goals, curriculum implementation and child readiness outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and coordinate staff meetings and trainings.
