Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Head Teacher in Piqua, OH to lead preschool classrooms within the Head Start program. You will supervise teachers, plan activities, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for children preparing for kindergarten.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, ongoing trainings, and adherence to Head Start regulatory standards to sustain high-quality education and child outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE with 1 year of teaching experience or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience with an Associate’s degree in ECE qualifies.
• Willingness to perform child safety checks and travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Teachers with daily classroom operations and learning environment setup.
• Ensure child safety with proper supervision and clean, organized spaces.
• Collaborate with Teachers to implement activities promoting development, individualized learning, and family engagement.
• Complete developmental screenings and support family and parent/teacher conferences.
• Master regulatory requirements to maintain high program ratings and compliance.
