Job summary

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) is seeking a part-time Classroom Aide for the Head Start Birth-5 Center. The role covers 28 hours per week and provides support in classrooms, playgrounds, the kitchen, and custodial duties as needed across centers.

Candidates should communicate well with children and families and interact positively with infants to 5-year-olds. CDA within one year is encouraged; LHDC offers on-the-job training and benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills with children and families.
• Ability to engage with infants to preschoolers (6 weeks to 5 years).
• Must meet Head Start/Indiana childcare regulations and complete required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide class-wide and center coverage as needed.
• Assist in classroom, playground, kitchen, and custodial duties as assigned.
• Support Head Start Performance Standards and Center procedures.
