Job summary

Innovative Network of Knowledge in Georgia is seeking a Center Director to lead a licensed Head Start child care center in Roswell. You will oversee staff, ensure safety, and coordinate services for families.

The role emphasizes adherence to state and federal standards, staff development, and community partnerships. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in a licensed childcare center or home.
• Experience in early childhood programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff protect the health and safety of children and never leave a child unsupervised.
• Hire, train, manage, and evaluate program personnel for quality improvement.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal standards and program policies.
• Maintain records and confidentiality of personnel, client, and incident files.
• Ensure practices keep children safe and report suspected abuse or neglect.
• Track center-wide child outcomes and quality measures including CLASS Pre-K.
• Support staff development and ongoing training; promote staff wellness.
• Monitor attendance and engage with families for case management.
• Engage families to identify needs and coordinate resources and referrals.
• Develop Family Service Plans and review progress with families.
• Coordinate community referrals to maximize resources and avoid duplication.
• Keep physical and electronic files current and organized.
• Maintain a hazard-free facility and timely incident reporting.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and prepare reports by deadlines.
