Job summary

BrightStars in Woonsocket, RI seeks a BA Float to support the Woonsocket Head Start Child Development Association’s mission with professionalism and accountability. The role collaborates with staff and families to ensure high‑quality services and compliance with licensing and regulatory standards.

The position requires a Bachelor's in ECE or related field, strong communication, and the ability to work across centers including driving between locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field.
• Knowledge of licensing standards (Head Start, RI DHS, NAEYC).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in line with organizational policies and program goals.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Promote health, safety, and well‑being of children, families, and staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation for funding, licensing, and procedures.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and community partners.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
• Communicate concerns and needs through proper channels.
• Support continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Provide back‑up coverage across classrooms as needed.
