MISSISSIPPI ACTION FOR PROGRESS INC is seeking a school bus driver to transport preschool children to Head Start centers in a safe and timely manner. You will ensure seat belts are used, monitor behavior, and verify children are delivered to authorized adults. Daily signage and safety checks are required.

Responsibilities include route planning, keeping accurate mileage and sign-off records, and coordinating with site staff and families. A valid PS endorsement and clean MVR are preferred.”

Qualificações

• Knowledge of safety practices related to preschoolChildren.
• Good written and oral communication skills and basic math.
• Ability to maintain schedules while meeting individual needs of children and families.

Responsabilidades

• Transport children to and from Head Start centers safely.
• Ensure passengers wear seat belts and are properly seated.
• Maintain daily sign-on/sign-off sheets by name.
• Deliver each child to a responsible adult on exit.
• Perform daily pre/post trip bus safety inspections.
• Coordinate paperwork flow between homes and Head Start sites.
• Report any health or safety concerns to the administrator.
