Qualifications

• Be physically qualified as determined by a physical examination upon hire.
• Professional knowledge of child growth and development and sensitivity to needs of young children and families.
• Able to physically manage, lift and interact with students of varying sizes.
• Driver's license may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support effective operation of classroom-related functions.
• Promote neat appearance and proper attitude in interactions.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and Early Childhood Standards of Conduct.
• Collaborate with Education and Early Childhood Development Coordinator and follow guidance.
• Support all classroom functions in a flexible capacity within the assigned building.
• Assist in implementing the High/Scope Curriculum and program mandates.
• Maintain safe and confidential child and family records.
