The Keystone Distinction Group seeks a Head Programmer/CNC Programmer in Austin, TX, onsite. The role requires expert Siemens NX CAM experience and leadership to build the CAD-to-CAM standard for automated 5-axis cells, capable of programming complex aerospace and defense parts.

You will train programmers, define processes, and develop probing stacks for lights-out production, collaborating with automation and software teams. US citizen or Green Card holder and relocation assistance offered.

Position Summary

We need an expert in Siemens NX CAM with 5+ years of experience — ideally someone who has worked as an NX applications engineer at a reseller, machine tool builder, or large aerospace shop — who can lead our CAD-to-CAM team and build the programming standard from scratch for our automated 5-axis CNC cells. You should be comfortable programming complex aerospace and defense parts yourself (titanium, Inconel, aluminum) and have a track record of training programmers, defining processes, and building probing stacks for lights-out production. Bonus points if you've managed a machine shop or programming team and have hands‑on experience with post processors in NX Post Builder or Post Configurator.

We are a small team with momentum and resources. You'll work directly with the Automation Engineer on tooling/workholding/pallet strategy and with software engineers who automate CAM workflows. It's a deeply integrated environment.
