As Head Pickleball Pro, you set the standard for excellence on the court and set the tone for everyone who works alongside you. You lead by teaching alongside your team, building the trust and confidence that help assistant professionals grow into strong instructors themselves. You find real energy in developing programming that brings members and guests of every skill level into the game, and you bring calm, clear direction when coordinating staff, courts, and schedules all at once. You supervise assistant professionals and maintenance staff, build and lead programming for members and guests of every level, and partner with the Director of Racquet Sports to shape the facility's annual calendar, budget, and staffing plans. You personally teach beginner through advanced lessons, coach proper technique and strategy, and organize special events that keep members engaged in the game. You oversee the daily readiness of the courts and facilities, ensure equipment and maintenance needs are addressed, and guide, coach, and develop your team so they can deliver the same level of service and instruction you model every day. Whether coaching a first-time player through their first rally or mentoring an assistant pro into a stronger instructor, your leadership and passion for the game become part of what makes an experience at Sea Island unforgettable — enriching the lives of everyone it touches, from your team to our members, guests, and community.

You respond to guest requests and follow through to assure satisfactory outcomes and compliance. You set the tone by consistently upholding and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for quality, timing, attendance, and appearance. You follow and ensure all Sea Island safety protocols are consistently met through situational awareness of your surroundings. You enthusiastically maintain your knowledge of Sea Island’s properties, services, and offerings, and share this information with guests and members. You are proactive in helping when needed and is willing to help with other areas or duties as requested. You form effective relationships and work closely with resort departments to maintain rapport and foster open communication. You maintain a thorough knowledge of current services, amenities, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area. When needed or requested by leadership, you act to promptly resolve concerns, coordinating necessary efforts through the appropriate departments and consistently follow-up to ensure resolution.
