The Water Sports Supervisor plays an integral role in creating exceptional coastal experiences by supporting the daily operations of Beach Services, Waterfront Services, and Water Sports Guides while fostering a culture built on genuine hospitality, teamwork, and personalized service. This leader is passionate about anticipating guest needs, creating memorable interactions, and ensuring every member and guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for from arrival through departure. By maintaining a highly visible presence throughout the operation, the Water Sports Supervisor inspires the team to consistently deliver warm, engaging, and intuitive service while ensuring all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. Success in this role requires balancing operational excellence with a sincere commitment to building relationships, creating lasting memories, and preserving the resort's reputation for Forbes Five-Star service.

In partnership with department leadership, the Water Sports Supervisor provides hands-on support across all aspects of Water Sports operations, including kayaking tours, Hobie Cat and Sunfish sailing instruction, paddleboarding, beach set-ups, waterfront activities, and rental equipment services. This role helps recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop team members while ensuring certifications remain current, payroll and attendance records are accurate, and service standards are consistently achieved. Through leading daily Delivering Service Quality meetings, supporting orientation and ongoing training, encouraging collaboration across resort departments, and personally recognizing returning members and guests, the Water Sports Supervisor cultivates an environment where every interaction exceeds expectations. Their leadership ensures the team delivers seamless, safe, and memorable experiences that strengthen guest loyalty, enrich the resort's legacy of warm hospitality, and create moments that guests will remember long after their visit.
