Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas is seeking a dynamic Pickleball Leader to elevate our program and become the face of the courts, shop, and events.
You’ll drive daily operations, design clinics and tournaments, teach lessons, and craft engaging programs that bring members and guests together on the courts.
Join a resort culture built on hospitality and Texas charm, with weekend and holiday availability required to meet business needs.
Bring Your Game. Build the Program. Make Every Point Count!
Picture this: Hill Country sunshine, sparkling Lake LBJ in the distance, and the satisfying pop of paddle on ball echoing across pristine courts. Welcome to Horseshoe Bay Resort — where pickleball isn’t just a sport, it’s the best part of someone’s day, and you’re about to be the reason why.
If you’re passionate about pickleball, love being around people, and know how to turn a great game into an unforgettable experience, we need to talk.
We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Pickleball leader ready to take our program to the next level — someone who’ll be the face of the courts, the shop, and every event in between.
Tucked into the rolling hills along the shores of Lake LBJ, Horseshoe Bay, Texas is the kind of place people dream about retiring to — except you get to work here now. Think wide-open Texas skies, warm year-round weather perfect for court time, and a close-knit resort community where members become friends and every day feels a little like vacation. With three championship golf courses, a yacht club, a full-service marina, and a resort culture built on hospitality and genuine Texas charm, this isn’t just a job — it’s a lifestyle upgrade.
You’ll lead our pickleball program from sunrise clinics to sunset socials, creating a mix of activities that keeps everyone engaged — from first-timers discovering the game to seasoned competitors chasing their next win.
Great programs don’t happen by accident. You’ll oversee the Baseline Shop staff — scheduling, training, coaching, and performance reviews — helping your team grow, stay motivated, and deliver the level of service our members expect. You’ll also collaborate with Resort leadership to solve problems, improve processes, and keep raising the bar.
We’re looking for someone confident on the court, comfortable in front of a crowd, and genuinely passionate about making people feel welcome.
You won’t be stepping into a role where everything’s already written for you — you’ll help write it. Bring your ideas. Try new things. Create events. Build relationships. Grow participation. Help players fall in love with the game, one serve at a time.
Most importantly, help create an environment where members and guests can’t wait to come back to the courts — and where, on your day off, you might just find yourself out on the lake instead.
This is a hands-on, on-the-court position, so you’ll need to be comfortable staying active throughout the day. Expect frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and movement around the courts and Resort. You may regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
You’ll also spend time outdoors soaking in that famous Hill Country weather, so comfort with the elements is a must. Weekend, evening, holiday, tournament, and special-event availability will be required based on business needs.
If you’re ready to lead, teach, create, compete, and have some fun along the way, we want to hear from you.
Bring your paddle. Bring your personality. Bring your passion.
Let’s make something great happen on the courts at Horseshoe Bay Resort!
