Pickleball Professional – Key Responsibilities

Member Engagement & Experience

• Serve as the main contact for all pickleball-related member interactions.
• Act as the on-site ambassador—creating an inclusive, energetic environment for all skill levels.
• Build strong relationships to understand member interests and drive satisfaction.

Programming & Events

• Plan and lead social mixers, clinics, round robins, and themed tournaments.
• Collaborate across departments to integrate pickleball into larger club events.
• Manage event logistics: promotion, registration, communication, and execution.
• Develop creative strategies to boost participation and visibility.

Instruction & Support

• Provide group clinics, private lessons, and informal coaching.
• Support player development through matchmaking and skill-building opportunities.

Operations & Administration

• Assist with court scheduling, equipment upkeep, and event logistics.
• Track participation and feedback to improve offerings.
• Stay informed on industry trends and bring innovative ideas to the program.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Professional presence and self-motivated with excellent customer service focus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office/racquet sports equipment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and handle confidential information.

Preferred

• 4-year college degree.
• USPTA or PPR pickleball certification.
• High-level playing ability and deep knowledge of the sport.
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally in a high-end racquet club environment.
• Passion for racquet sports and familiarity with equipment/supplies.
