PATL Charleston is seeking an energetic Head Padel Coach to oversee all instruction, player development, and staff coordination. The role blends high-level coaching with leadership to build a first-class coaching culture and a welcoming environment for players of all levels.

The ideal candidate thrives on the court, inspires players, and drives growth of coaching programming and community engagement in the Lowcountry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a padel coach; prior leadership or head coach experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of padel tactics, techniques, and coaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, staff, and program planning.
• Passion for community-building and delivering a great player experience.
• Certification from a recognized padel organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coaching & Player Development: Deliver high-quality lessons, clinics, and training sessions for players of all skill levels.
• Leadership & Staff Oversight: Lead, mentor, and schedule the coaching team; maintain coaching standards reflecting PATL's values.
• Program & Event Management: Design, implement, and grow innovative padel programs; organize tournaments and events.
• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with members and visiting players; foster an inclusive, fun environment; growth of programming.
