Job summary

The Boar's Head Sports Club in Charlottesville is seeking a Head Padel Professional to grow and oversee all Padel programs for adults, children and seniors. You will lead instruction, tournaments, leagues, and junior programs, organize private lessons, clinics, and social events, and promote court utilization to maximize revenue.

Strong coaching credentials and guest-focus are essential, with flexibility for weekends and holidays in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Padel coaching certification required.
• Proven experience playing and coaching padel.
• Strong knowledge of padel techniques, tactics, and rules.
• Experience coaching adults and juniors of varying skill levels.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, professional and guest-focused.
• Court maintenance – keeping courts free of debris and glass clean.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Luxury hospitality or resort experience is a plus.
• Additional languages are an advantage.

Responsible for the growth of the sport at the Resort and extending into the Charlottesville community for all ages and levels. The successful candidate will develop, promote, and supervise Padel programs for adults, children and seniors, including instruction, tournaments, leagues, and junior programs. He or she will organize private lessons, group clinics, tournaments and social events, collaborating interdepartmentally to successfully execute events. The Head Padel Professional will maximize court utilization and revenue by providing a variety of activities and programs that meet the needs of members and guests. He or she will promote Padel among the membership and act as an ambassador to enhance the value of The Boar's Head Sports Club.
