Job summary

Hearst Magazines is seeking an executive-level interior design and workplace strategy lead in New York. You will shape corporate interiors, set standards for space planning, furniture, finishes, and branding, and guide cross-functional teams through complex FF&E programs.

You will partner with executives to translate business needs into effective workplace solutions, manage multi-project renovations, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, Workplace Strategy, Strategic Interior Planning, Facilities Planning, Project Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate interiors, workplace strategy, interior design, space planning, FF&E, or related discipline.
• Experience leading corporate interior design initiatives and projects from concept to completion.
• Strong expertise in space management, FF&E, and design decision-making.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement workplace strategies for Hearst Tower and domestic locations.
• Lead programming, test fits, blocking and stacking, and occupancy planning.
• Manage FF&E selection, specification, procurement, and installation.
• Oversee interior workplace renovation, relocation, and reconfiguration projects nationwide.
• Coordinate architects, designers, engineers, and vendors from planning through completion.
• Ensure alignment with brand, standards, budgets, and schedules.
• Travel 10–20% domestically as required.
