Job summary

Hearst in New York seeks an experienced Senior Interior Project Manager to oversee nationwide interior office renovations. You will manage local PMs, set standards, review guidelines, and select and hire service contractors while coordinating with architects, engineers, and vendors.

This role requires a BA/BS in design or related field, 10+ years in corporate interiors, strong proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp and MS Office, and willingness to travel 10-20% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Strategic Interior Planning, Project Management, or related field is required.
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Interiors, Project Management, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp and design software; MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and oversight of interior office renovation projects nationwide.
• Develop standards for Project Management, including guidelines and forms for all construction projects.
• Review and update Hearst Design & Construction guidelines.
• Evaluate and implement construction project management systems.
• Identify and hire local Project Management Services for projects outside NYC.
• Manage bidding, contracts, and negotiations for PM, architectural, engineering, and GCs.
• Travel 10-20% domestically.
• Develop short- and long-term strategic space planning for Hearst Tower and Sheffield.
• Oversee space management system (WISP and Office Space).
• Coordinate office moves/adds/changes with HR, Facilities, Tech, and other groups.
• Manage master furniture inventory in NYC and FF&E procurement nationwide.
