YMCA of Northwest North Carolina invites applications for Senior Wellness Experience Director at William G White Jr Family YMCA in Winston-Salem, NC. The role leads wellness programs, drives membership retention, and oversees a team of coaches and instructors.

You will supervise staff, implement strategic wellness initiatives, and ensure exceptional member experiences while managing payroll and budgets. Salary range is $44,000–$48,000 with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Nationally recognized Personal Training or Coaching certifications required.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen (ASHI) certification or to obtain within 30 days.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in wellness or customer service/sales preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends; supervise a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Execute Association-wide and branch membership strategies to boost retention and growth.
• Provide direct supervision to the Group Exercise Coordinator.
• Supervise wellness staff, scheduling, payroll, and staff meetings; manage issues per policy.
• Implement retention plans and meet uFit goals.
• Use data to identify opportunities and reduce participation barriers.
• Lead a member-focused wellness team and manage budget within area.
