Job summary

Mysten Labs, Inc. is building the wallet and DeFi experiences for the Sui ecosystem. We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead engineers across wallet clients and onchain integrations, owning architecture, testing standards, and incident learning to protect user assets and trust.

You will partner with product, design, security, protocol, and ecosystem teams to shape direction, manage tradeoffs, and ship dependable experiences—remote-first and globally distributed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software engineers in a high-ownership product environment.
• Direct experience shipping production blockchain wallet functionality.
• Hands-on DeFi fluency and familiarity with onchain concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach, and retain a team of engineers across wallet clients, supporting services, and onchain integrations.
• Set technical direction for account creation, key management, signing, and DeFi experiences.
• Create ownership plans across web, extension, iOS, Android, backend, SDKs, and protocol dependencies.
• Raise standards for architecture, testing, release safety, observability, and incident learning.
• Partner with product/design to simplify onchain workflows while exposing necessary fees and risks.
• Work with security/protocol teams to balance usability, decentralization, privacy, and asset protection.
