Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC. is seeking a Director of Vendor-Managed Inventory Solutions to lead a national VMI program, drive revenue, and strengthen customer partnerships.

You will oversee multiple VMI Managers, define enterprise strategy, and ensure flawless execution aligned with NEFCO's digital and supply chain goals. The role requires building scalable processes, measuring ROI, and maintaining a customer-first approach across accounts, with travel to customer sites and NEFCO branches as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years in supply chain, VMI, or inventory management with at least 5 years in senior management.
• Proven success building and scaling national VMI programs in industrial/construction distribution.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, ROI models, and P&L impact.
• Experience with VMI technologies (vending, RFID/barcode, mobile apps, ERP integrations, IoT).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel to customer sites, NEFCO branches, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide VMI growth strategy and scalability.
• Establish KPIs, ROI framework, and operational scorecards for VMI programs.
• Align VMI with NEFCO's digital commerce and customer success strategies.
• Oversee VMI Managers and ensure delivery against program objectives.
• Standardize onboarding, implementation, and account management processes.
• Drive national VMI consistency while accommodating regional needs.
• Own P&L impact, pricing models, CapEx planning, and margin optimization.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic recommendations.
