Job summary

Rivian Automotive in California seeks a Senior Manager, Vehicle Validation to lead the team responsible for vehicle-level validation across SSN programs. Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years in automotive or complex electro-mechanical products.
• Experience in technical program management, systems engineering, validation or related leadership.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262/SOTIF and validation readiness.
• Proven ability to lead multiple programs and develop people leaders.
• Fluency with Jira, Confluence, Jama and AI-enabled validation methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Program Leads TPMs across SSN programs.
• Set performance expectations and coach for execution.
• Translate SSN goals into actionable validation strategy.
• Align DVP coverage, asset plans and test timing across programs.
• Monitor progress with dashboards and data systems; escalate risks and decisions.
• Pilot and adopt AI-enabled validation methods.
