Job summary

AstraZeneca in Wilmington, DE invites a Senior Director to shape US access and value strategies for the early asset portfolio. You will influence payer, policy, pricing and affordability considerations across asset development and investment decisions.

As the senior US access voice, you will collaborate with Clinical Development, HEOR, Regulatory, Commercial and Finance to craft evidence-based recommendations and de-risk access hurdles in a complex matrix environment.

Qualifications

BA/BS in health economics, public health, pharmacy, life sciences, business or economics.
Advanced degree (MPH/MS/PharmD/PhD/MBA) strongly preferred.
8+ years in market access, HEOR, pricing or early asset strategy.
Deep understanding of US payer and health-system environment.
Ability to translate analyses into strategic recommendations.
Experience influencing cross-functional asset teams and governance.

Responsibilities

Define US payer-relevant elements of the Target Product Profile and shape differentiation claims.
Provide US access input to clinical and RWE plans.
Lead early value story development and outline core claims.
Develop US pricing and contracting hypotheses.
Co-create early economic models and RWE plans.
Assess policy landscape and site-of-care dynamics.
Plan and synthesize payer advisory input to de-risk access hurdles.
Maintain landscape of class coverage criteria and reimbursement precedents.
Build access assumptions for early forecasts and partner with Finance.
