YDTS Global is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth in the United States market for pharmacovigilance services. You will cultivate strategic partnerships within pharma, biotech, and medical devices, expanding revenue across safety data management, signal detection, and risk management offerings.

The role emphasizes building executive relationships, customizing proposals, and driving a high-velocity sales cycle in remote-first or hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Life Sciences, Business Admin, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in BD or client acquisition within CRO/pharmacovigilance or life sciences outsourcing.
• Robust network and deep understanding of US pharmacovigilance.
• Proven history securing new business and closing deals with mid-to-large pharma/biotech.
• Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Able to work autonomously and in remote-first or hybrid settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business prospects in US pharma/biotech/medical device sectors.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales roadmap to grow pharmacovigilance client base.
• Build executive relationships with Directors of Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs & Procurement.
• Lead meetings, presentations, and demos to showcase capabilities and value.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, and SMEs to craft proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows and networking events.
• Manage a robust CRM-driven pipeline with regular progress reports to leadership.
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Create a focused BD strategy for the US pharmacovigilance market.
• Leverage industry insights to identify high-potential opportunities.
