Job summary

MIRA Wellness Club in Chennai is seeking a founding head of training to own the club's coaching method and lead the coaching team. You will be accountable for member results on the training floor and collaborate with the General Manager who runs the club.

You will hire the founding coaching team, refine onboarding, and set the assessment standards for new members while coordinating with the Head Physiotherapist to delineate where training ends and physiotherapy begins.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of coaching experience, including time leading or training other coaches.
• Sports science degree or strong international strength & conditioning certification.
• Experience coaching working professionals as well as athletes.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own the training method and defend it with the founder.
• Hire and screen the founding coaching team.
• Design onboarding for coaches and assess new members.
• Set the assessment standards for new members.
• Own member results, training safety and weekly coaching education.
• Spend most of your day on the training floor.
