Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Sr. Test Engineering Manager to lead the Test Engineering department, drive optimal test strategies, and ensure efficient use of people, systems and equipment across programs.

You will mentor engineers, develop test capabilities, implement automation and ISO/QS processes, and partner with customers and operations to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that support ramp and ongoing production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years work-related experience, minimum of 5 years management experience required.
• Experience with SMT test engineering and automated test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quotations for new models to ensure growth.
• Lead Test Engineering Department with high efficiency and integrity.
• Manage department structure, seating capacity and forecast.
• Develop and implement Workcell systems and ISO/QS systems.
• Maintain test equipment and drive cost reductions through automation.
• Hire, train, and develop test personnel to support ramp and new business.
• Set up a failure analysis group to track cost-effective test reject inventory and reporting of failures.
• Set up a test development group to increase company value and satisfy customers' needs.
• Provide meaningful feedback and conduct annual performance appraisals.
