Job summary

Ethernovia, Inc. in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Head of Test Development Engineering to take products from NPI to high-volume manufacturing. The role is hands-on with semiconductor test development, bridging networking chip designs and automotive-grade silicon testing.

You will lead end-to-end test architecture, collaborate with Arch, DFT, Security, SW/FW, System, and Q&R, and drive test program delivery for high-speed Ethernet switch and PHY products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of fabless semiconductor operations experience.
• Expert in ATE 93K platform and test software.
• Experience with iJTAG, SSN, MBIST, SerDes, LSIO/HSIO testing.
• Familiarity with SLT testing and multi-site automation.
• Knowledge of DFT/DFM/DFD for Ethernet PHY and Switch products.
• Experience with automotive electronics standards (IATF 16949, ISO 26262).

Responsibilities

• Own test architecture from pre-silicon to post-silicon.
• Lead design of test boards to ensure SI/PI and robustness.
• Coordinate labs, OSATs, and vendors for tester/hardware.
• Drive test programs from NPI bring-up to high volume manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Arch/DFT/SW/Security/QA/Design teams.
