Job summary

Leidos Energy seeks a Director to lead Technology Operations & Sustainment, guiding the current technology baseline, networks, hardware and software to ensure reliability, security, and continuous improvement. This role shapes the technology organization across Leidos Energy and ENTRUST, aligning investments, talent, and processes with business needs.

The position partners with Energy leadership to optimize workflows, reduce technical debt, and enable engineers, technicians, and business teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical organizations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate employee and business needs into technology priorities and communicate risks clearly.
• Experience simplifying complex technology environments and leading across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the Current Technology Baseline.
• Lead the operation, sustainment, and lifecycle management of Business Area-owned technology.
• Ensure capabilities are reliable, secure, resilient, and supportable.
• Reduce obsolescence, fragmentation, and technical debt.
• Develop a strong understanding of how Energy employees use technology to work.
• Lead Technology Operations and set priorities based on business impact and risk.
• Partner with Innovation & Deployment for significant changes or new capabilities.
• Manage the organization, portfolio, resources, and external providers.
• Provide clear insight into technology health, risks, priorities, and investments.
• Build an engaged team across the combined Energy organization.
