Job summary

Leidos Energy, part of the Homeland Sector, seeks a Director of Innovation & Deployment to shape how technology enables differentiated value. This leader will fuse engineering, operations, and strategy to turn ideas into deployed capabilities with measurable impact.

You will lead rapid development, validate concepts with evidence, and drive transitions of successful solutions into sustained practice. Build an engaged team and manage partnerships reporting to Energy CTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT or related field with 12+ years of experience.
• Experience leading technical organizations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven record moving technology capabilities from concept to deployment.
• Ability to communicate tech choices, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize opportunities where technology can improve outcomes.
• Lead rapid development, prototyping, and testing to generate evidence.
• Own the path from identified opportunity to operational deployment.
• Build and manage a repeatable Innovation & Deployment process.
