Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Chief of Staff to provide executive-level support to Financial Advisors and Private Wealth teams, overseeing operations, strategy execution, and client service excellence.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex initiatives across a fast-paced environment to scale client relationships and business development efforts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in a field relevant to the position.
• Advanced degree or professional certification or prior industry experience required.
• Active Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses and/or designations as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team Support Professionals to ensure alignment on team priorities and business goals.
• Serve as a coordinator for business matters related to the team, ensuring proper direction and timely resolution.
• Coordinate and guide strategic business initiatives to achieve desired results, including tracking asset growth and performance.
• Organize and prioritize critical issues and information for Advisors to facilitate decision making.
• Support the FA/PWA/team in enhancing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Assess client service needs and delegate actions appropriately within the team.
• Manage team client communications strategy.
• Collaborate with the Business Service Officer on hiring, training, and staff performance.
• Evaluate and implement new services to integrate them into current offerings.
