Job summary

FSG is a remote-first company with occasional on-site support that focuses on private funds, regulatory compliance, and investor experience. The Team Events Vice President will lead our annual events strategy and oversee logistics, budgeting, and communications to create exceptional experiences for our team and their families.

You will supervise event staff, partner with marketing and BD, and ensure contracts are favorable while maintaining alignment with the company’s integrity and time

Qualifications

• 5+ years of event planning experience with at least one year of direct supervisory experience.
• Experience planning and orchestrating in-person and virtual events for medium-sized groups.
• A combination of hospitality industry and professional industry experience is preferred.
• The ability to balance professionalism with a genuine sense of fun, bringing energy, humor, and playfulness to the team.
• A creative approach to finding innovative and exciting ways to bring excitement and joy to our team.
• High levels of passion for and alignment with the FSG Principles.
• A love of people and commitment to their success.
• Be exceptional in your organizational and written communication skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of our annual team events strategy, combining virtual and in-person opportunities for connection.
• Identify appropriate venues and forums for all company-wide and functional events where we splurge on our team and their families.
• Review and negotiate contracts for team event related activities and venues.
• Own the planning of all facets related to our team events including logistics, relationship facilitation moments, team swag, and the “little things” to capture maximum cultural impact from events.
• Oversee the delivery of clear communications to team members in advance of and during team events to minimize challenges and maximize participation.
• Support event planning for marketing or other events with third parties alongside the Business Development team.
• Attend and execute well-orchestrated and impactful team events with the help of the People & Culture team.
