Kaizen, a government-technology company based in New York City and Washington DC, is seeking a senior recruiting leader. You will own the recruiting engine, raise the hiring bar, and personally close senior and executive searches across GTM, operations, engineering, and design.

Build scalable processes, partner with the COO on headcount planning, and shape Kaizen's talent strategy in a fast-growing market. You will direct a small team, optimize ATS usage (Ashby preferred), and drive AI-driven

• Proven ability to scale a talent function during rapid growth.
• Direct, honest communication with founders and leadership.
• Compelling rationale to attract top federal gov/defense talent.
• Deep relationships with NYC engineering communities.

Responsabilidades

• Build and run Kaizen's recruiting engine across all functions.
• Raise the hiring bar and recruit the best talent.
• Lead concurrent searches across GTM, operations, engineering, and design.
• Own the recruiting stack and metrics dashboards.
• Manage a team of three, hire additional recruiters, and mentor career growth.
• Oversee agency roster and negotiate terms for search firms.
• Establish Kaizen's employer brand in NYC and DC markets.
• Collaborate with COO on headcount planning and talent strategy.
