Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a hands-on leader for Talent Acquisition to drive our recruiting strategy across the company. You will lead a team of recruiters, partner with engineering, research, and go-to-market teams, and own day-to-day execution to build high-impact pipelines for critical roles.

You will champion AI-native sourcing and screening workflows, optimize hiring processes with data, and mentor your team to raise hiring standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of recruiting experience, including leadership or managing recruiters.
• Experience hiring across technical and go-to-market functions in a high-growth tech/AI company.
• Experience recruiting for engineering and/or research roles.
• Hands-on with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, Metaview, and Juicebox.
• Built AI-assisted recruiting workflows or automation that improved team performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a recruiting team—sets priorities, coaches performance, and drives outcomes.
• Run full-cycle recruiting across the company, stepping into sourcing, interviewing, and closing when needed.
• Operate AI-native recruiting workflows, integrating Human+AI in sourcing, screening, and pipeline operations.
• Build scalable recruiting systems by identifying recurring work and creating processes and tooling.
• Use data to diagnose funnel health, capacity, and conversion, addressing root causes rather than adding process.
• Develop people with clear expectations, feedback, and career growth within the team.
• Raise hiring quality by coaching managers on structured interviews and sound decision-making.
