Job summary

Medvelle, a rapidly growing Healthcare AI company, seeks a Head of Talent in Midtown Manhattan to lead recruiting across Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and leadership roles. This hands-on role sources and closes exceptional candidates while building scalable systems and processes to support hiring at scale.

The ideal candidate is strategic, resourceful, and comfortable building from scratch in a fast-moving environment, partnering with executives to drive aggressive hiring targets.

Qualifications

• Experience hiring in fast-growing tech, SaaS, or healthcare.
• Sourcing and closing passive candidates, incl. senior roles.
• Hands-on approach managing searches end-to-end.
• Built recruiting processes from scratch and scaled them.
• Excellent communication with executives and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Own Hiring Strategy: define priorities, headcount plans, timelines, role requirements.
• Recruit Exceptional Talent: source, engage, interview, and close high-quality candidates.
• Build the Recruiting Engine: create scalable sourcing, interview scorecards, references, offers, tracking.
• Drive Hiring Velocity: own active searches, pipeline, bottlenecks, close dates.
• Partner with Hiring Managers: run efficient, structured interviews, maintain high talent bar.
• Build Talent Pipelines: outbound recruiting, referrals, networks, universities, agencies.
• Own Recruiting Infrastructure: select ATS, tools, partners, reporting, automation.
• Strengthen Employer Brand: position Medvelle as destination for top talent.

We are a rapidly growing Healthcare AI company transforming how medical aesthetic practices manage their operations, inventory, and purchasing.

As we scale, hiring exceptional people will be one of our biggest priorities. We are looking for a Head of Talent to build and own the recruiting function across the company.

Role Overview

As Head of Talent, you will own Medvelle's hiring strategy and execution across Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and leadership roles.

This is a hands-on role. You will personally source and close exceptional candidates while building the systems, processes, and infrastructure required to support hiring at scale.

The ideal candidate is strategic, highly resourceful, and comfortable building from scratch in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Hiring Strategy: Partner with leadership to define hiring priorities, headcount plans, timelines, and role requirements.
• Recruit Exceptional Talent: Personally source, engage, interview, and close high-quality candidates across critical roles.
• Build the Recruiting Engine: Create scalable processes for sourcing, interviews, scorecards, references, offers, and candidate tracking.
• Drive Hiring Velocity: Maintain clear ownership of every active search, pipeline, bottleneck, and target close date.
• Partner with Hiring Managers: Help leaders run efficient, structured interview processes and maintain a consistently high talent bar.
• Build Talent Pipelines: Develop proactive sourcing channels through outbound recruiting, referrals, networks, universities, agencies, and other creative channels.
• Own Recruiting Infrastructure: Select and manage the ATS, recruiting tools, external partners, reporting, and automation needed to scale.
• Strengthen Employer Brand: Help position Medvelle as a destination for ambitious, high-performing talent.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong experience recruiting in a fast-growing technology, SaaS, healthcare, or similarly competitive environment.
• Proven ability to source and close passive candidates, including senior and difficult-to-fill roles.
• Highly hands-on and comfortable personally managing searches end to end.
• Strong operational instincts and experience building recruiting processes from scratch.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner directly with executives and hiring managers.
• Data-driven, organized, and comfortable managing aggressive hiring targets.
• High sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.

This is an opportunity to build the talent function at a critical stage of Medvelle's growth.

You will work directly with the executive team, have significant ownership over how the organization is built, and have the opportunity to grow and lead the broader Talent organization as the company scales.

This is a fully in-office position based in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
