Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Director of Survey to oversee all aspects of the surveying division and deliver high-quality, compliant results for clients across the US and Caribbean. This hybrid role requires strong leadership, business development, and project-management skills.

You will guide teams, coordinate with engineering and geospatial groups, ensure timelines and budgets are met, and build lasting client relationships while advancing safety and performance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or equivalent in a survey/civil environment.
• 10+ years of land surveying experience with at least 5 years in leadership or management.
• Professional Surveyor and Mapper license (PSM or PLS) is required.
• Experience with utility clients is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to surveying and mapping.
• Proficiency with GPS, Total Station, LiDAR, and GIS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the survey department, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Provide technical direction, guidance, and support to survey managers and office staff.
• Develop and implement processes to improve survey quality and efficiency.
• Foster a positive team environment with a focus on safety, performance, and client satisfaction.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of surveying projects meeting specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, geospatial, and other departments for seamless data integration.
• Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality control are maintained.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with business development to expand surveying services across markets.
• Serve as primary contact for key clients and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records and documentation of survey projects; oversee QC of data.
• Stay updated with surveying technologies and implement innovations.
