Merck is seeking an Associate Director of Study Data Services to lead a programming and reporting team, set goals, coach performance, and partner with leadership. The role emphasizes hands-on technical review, SOP enforcement, workload management, and continuous improvement through scalable data solutions.

The ideal candidate will drive best practices in code review, automation, and data modeling while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical programming teams and delivering complex data solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data standards (MedDRA, WHODrug) and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and deployment of clinical technology system solutions (EDC, RTSM, eCOA/ePRO).
• Provide technical oversight for programming, reporting, and data integration across portfolios.
• Develop reusable components and automate validation to improve reporting accuracy.
• Translate strategy into priorities, roadmaps, and execution plans across global teams.
• Coach and mentor staff to build capability and maintain a culture of quality and collaboration.
