Job summary

Carmichael Lynch is seeking a Group Planning Director to lead the planning team and shape the client strategy. You will partner with account and creative leaders to develop insights that drive action for clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include mentoring a 4-5 planner group, guiding research, and creating compelling strategy presentations for senior stakeholders. A strong track record in creative settings and in-depth analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree with emphasis on psychology, sociology, anthropology, advertising, or related field or strong relevant experience.
• Proven ability to work in partnership with senior clients and creative teams.
• Significant quantitative and qualitative research experience with ability to translate into insights.
• Expert knowledge of presentation software (Keynote & PowerPoint) and Word.
• Experience with Simmons/MRI and syndicated research partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group planning director on this account; manage and lead a team of 4-5 planners.
• Develop strategic recommendations in partnership with account and creative leadership.
• Build and maintain deep client relationships with senior leaders.
