Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a Contracts & Sourcing Analyst to support the development and execution of sourcing and contracting strategies that reduce spend and improve efficiency.

You will draft, redline, and negotiate terms under guidance, and assist across the full sourcing lifecycle with internal teams and suppliers. The role combines data analysis, supplier engagement, and contract maintenance in a hybrid environment with three days in the office at locations including Irving, TX; Chicago, IL;

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in MedSurg or clinical setting.
• Foundational contract review, redlining, or negotiation support experience.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Hybrid work model with three days in office; Irving, TX; Chicago, IL; Centennial, CO.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and redlining contract terms.
• Participate in supplier negotiations by preparing materials and contributing to discussions.
• Support alignment between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure contract documents reflect updates and adhere to standards.
• Elevate complex negotiation items to senior sourcing executives.
• Contribute to sourcing strategies using data, market insights, and supplier information.
• Assist in RFP creation, distribution, bid collection, and initial evaluations.
• Coordinate supplier communications and scheduling for sourcing activities.
• Support contract maintenance activities, including amendments, renewals, and pricing validations.
• Prepare communication materials summarizing sourcing progress and opportunities.
