Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Engineer for Space Ground Systems to steer the technical direction of ground C2 platforms, mission data processing, and satellite command & control. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team across complex, classified deployments and collaborate with partners to deliver robust, scalable space-ground solutions.

Applicants should have a proven track record in defense-grade backend systems, air-gapped environments, and end-to-end program execution from design

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in defense/IC space ground systems.
• Strong background in distributed backend architecture and mission data processing.
• Experience with security accreditation and air-gapped deployments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and system-level expertise across ground C2 architecture, satellite TT&C systems, and mission data processing pipelines.
• Serve as the technical authority on the program and ensure the engineering baseline aligns with customer needs.
• Lead architecture development for SDA ground processing, space control C2 systems, and dynamic RPO missions.
• Drive lifecycle from architecture trades to deployment in classified environments and go-live.
