Job summary

Strata Clean Energy in Durham, NC seeks a Director of Project Management to lead a team delivering preconstruction planning, budgeting, and strategy for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will oversee scheduling, contracts, and client relations across the EPC portfolio from start to finish.

The role requires strong leadership, deep experience in renewable energy construction, and a proven ability to drive profitability while coordinating with engineering and procurement teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 to 15 years Solar Construction Experience including a minimum of 5 years P&L responsibility.
• Engineering Degree or Construction Management Major preferred.
• PMI/PMP certification and OSHA safety knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction planning, estimating, strategy, and contract oversight for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, budgets, and profitability across the EPC portfolio from preconstruction to completion.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance on all projects and drive continuous improvement.
