Athletes Thread is seeking a social media leader to own growth across a network of 400+ college accounts (IG/X) and launch new sports verticals with a creator roster you build.

You'll manage a team of 18, develop per-platform playbooks, and craft strategies that scale across hundreds of school accounts while driving engagement and revenue attribution. Remote in the US, full-time or contract-to-full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large network of social accounts across many schools.
• Ability to find and manage content creators for a brand network.
• Strong storytelling and content creation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the social growth strategy for the network of 400+ college accounts.
• Develop per-platform playbooks and scale growth across hundreds of school accounts.
• Launch and scale new sports verticals with dedicated identities.
• Build, manage, and optimize the creator pipeline with briefs, calendars, and performance tracking.
• Measure growth, engagement, and revenue attribution to verify success.
