Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Manager, Silicon Operations Production Planning in Santa Clara to lead a team of supply planners and align manufacturing plans with business goals. You will own supply commitments for multiple Networking silicon families, collaborate across wafer planning, engineering, and business units, and drive optimized build plans amid capacity and material constraints.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in semiconductor operations or supply planning/supply chain.
• 3+ years leading teams with direct reports.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency with SAP, SAP APO, IBP, Windchill and advanced planning software.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a dynamic team of operations supply planners and set priorities.
• Own supply commitments for multiple Networking silicon product families.
• Present supply challenges to management and recommend resolutions.
• Craft optimized production schedules considering die and material availability.
• Influence decisions on substrates and other materials to support build plans.
• Coordinate with wafer planning, datacenter systems planning, and business units to align supply strategies.
• Assess capacity, materials, and production issues to determine tradeoffs.
• Analyze demand shortfalls and prepare supply forecasts for management.
• Facilitate ramp plans with program managers and engineers from sampling to high-volume production.
• Suggest improvements to KPIs like shipment hit rate, cycle time, and line efficiency.
