Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Head of Signature Events to design and run invitation-only experiences for senior technology executives. You will own concept, venue, vendors, budgets and guest lists, coordinating with CEO and account teams to maximize pipeline impact.

You will travel to host events in the US and abroad, including WEF-related activities and high-profile sports and entertainment venues, reporting results to marketing and sales leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in marketing, including 4+ years in B2B event marketing.
• Experience producing invitation-only experiences for C-level and VP buyers.
• 4+ years running events for US B2B buyers.
• Experience producing events outside your home city, including international or destination events.
• Experience hosting with a CEO, founder or senior executive as host.
• Based in the US or Canada, Pacific Coast preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce signature executive experiences end to end, hosted by our CEO, commercial leaders or account teams, including concept, venue, vendors, run-of-show and on-site hosting.
• Fill each event with the right executives by setting the invitation strategy with senior leaders and ABM from target accounts.
• Manage the events budget, contracts and vendors, including venues, hospitality, agencies, DMCs.
• Measure results by tracking attendees, follow-up meetings, and pipeline, and report ROI to leadership.
• Build the annual signature events calendar and a repeatable playbook.
• Travel regularly to host events in the US and abroad.
