EDB seeks a leader to own Security Operations and Security Engineering, reporting to the CISO. You will build the threat detection, incident response, and preventive controls necessary as the company grows across products and cloud environments.

You will partner with Governance, Risk & Compliance, and Product Security to shape the security program, scale with automation, and drive risk-informed decisions company-wide. This is a remote-friendly, fast-moving leadership role.

Formación

• 5+ years of management experience leading security teams.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, detection, or security engineering.
• Track record scaling a security function through rapid growth, hiring and automation.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact for executives and stakeholders.
• Comfort in a global, remote‑first environment with on‑call responsibilities.
• Willingness to build automation and preventive controls into platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Security Operations and Security Engineering reporting to the CISO.
• Own threat detection, incident response, and prevention program.
• Partner with Governance, Risk & Compliance and Application Security & Vulnerability Management.
• Scale the program with automation and staffing as the company grows.
• Define preventive controls and least privilege across employees, contractors, and build systems.
• Drive insider threat and identity assurance programs with HR and Legal.
• Coordinate with IT and Product leadership to embed security in platforms and pipelines.
