Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience in medium-large environments.
• 5+ years leading Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response, Cyber Defense, or Threat Detection teams.
• 5+ years operating and optimizing enterprise security platforms including SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and security automation such as Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon, or similar.
• 3+ years building, managing, and maturing security operations capabilities (monitoring, threat hunting, IR, forensics).

Responsibilities

• Lead SOC strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of operations.
• Establish processes, service levels, and reporting to measure effectiveness.
• Coordinate incident response with technical and business stakeholders during events.
• Drive improvements in detection engineering and response workflows.
• Leverage automation and AI to improve efficiency and defense outcomes.
• Develop standards and controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop security operations talent and teams.
• Provide visibility into threat activity, risk, and program performance.
