Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director for Security Operations Center (SOC) to lead cybersecurity operations, threat detection, and incident response. You will build and mature capabilities balancing security with business agility, partnering with IT, cloud, identity, and engineering leaders.

You will oversee governance, risk management, and strategy to strengthen cyber resilience, enable growth, and protect sensitive data in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience in medium-large environments.
• 5+ years leading SOC, incident response, cyber defense, or threat detection teams.
• 5+ years operating and optimizing enterprise security platforms (SIEM/EDR/XDR/SOAR).
• 3+ years building and maturing security operations capabilities including monitoring, threat hunting, and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the SOC.
• Establish processes, metrics, and reporting to measure effectiveness.
• Build and mature SOC capabilities aligned to business priorities and risk tolerance.
• Coordinate during cybersecurity incidents with technical and business stakeholders.
