Job summary

Quant is building a Security leadership role in New York to own and scale the security operations for a critical On-Chain Money Initiative. You will lead a 24/7 SOC, manage PKI lifecycle under governance, and drive threat intelligence and incident response across a rapidly evolving, regulated digital asset environment.

Qualifications

• Led security operations in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Built or ran a function with continuous coverage (24/7) and distinguished alert vs signal.
• Owned PKI/certificate lifecycle at scale.
• Produced evidence for regulators, with clear rationale for actions taken.
• Recognized security certifications such as CISSP or GIAC, or one in progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 SOC operations and security tooling.
• Own PKI lifecycle and governance.
• Lead threat intelligence and on-chain analytics with providers like Chainalysis, TRM Labs and Elliptic.
• Manage end-to-end incident response and align with platform reliability.

Job description

We're partnering with Quant, a global leader in digital transformation and technology solutions, seeking a Head of Security to join their team.

Securing a chain platform that moves regulated money is not the same problem as securing an enterprise. The Clearing House has selected Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative, and we're hiring someone to own its security operations.

That covers a 24/7 SOC working inside TCH's security tooling, the PKI lifecycle under TCH's governance, threat intelligence, on-chain analytics through providers such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs and Elliptic, and incident response end to end, alongside Platform Reliability, since most serious incidents here are both security and availability events.

Ahead of an expected launch in the first half of 2027, much of the security model is being established rather than inherited. You would establish it, then prove it to people whose job is to find the gap.

You will need

• To have led security operations in financial services or another regulated industry.
• To have built or run a function with continuous coverage, and to know the difference between an alert and a signal.
• PKI and certificate lifecycle ownership at scale.
• To have produced evidence for a regulator. A great deal of this job is being able to prove what you did and why you took the action that you did.
• A recognized security certification such as CISSP or GIAC, or one in progress.

Useful, not essential

• Blockchain analytics and on-chain transaction monitoring.
• Operating inside a client's security tooling rather than your own.
• Digital asset custody or exchange security.

Our technology provides the network's interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management layer, enabling payments that settle immediately and transactions that trigger automatically once agreed conditions are met.

Through our Tokenized Deposits-as-a-Service solution, banks of any size can join without building new infrastructure themselves. The network is expected to become available to participating institutions in the first half of 2027, with use cases across corporate treasury, liquidity management, cross-border payments and digital asset settlement. We are building the New York team that will run it.
