Vivvi is redefining child care and early learning in New York. We seek a Head of School to lead operations, curriculum delivery, and community relationships while championing an inclusive environment for families and staff.

You will mentor faculty, oversee recruitment and onboarding, and ensure compliance with NY licensing and safety standards. This role requires 5–10 years in a senior educational leadership position and a NYS credentialing path.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in a similar Head of School or School Leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of NY licensing, health and safety requirements.
• Experience with emergent- or inquiry-based curricula.
• Ability to recruit, hire, and coach instructional staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead school operations with staffing, scheduling and enrollment tracking.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards.
• Guarantee delivery of developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Foster relationships with families and the community.
• Mentor faculty and conduct performance evaluations.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff.
