Job summary

Vivvi is seeking a Head Teacher for a brand new Elon, NC center. You will oversee the well-being and development of children, design thematic units, and lead curriculum implementation to support growth.

You will communicate with families, supervise activities, and ensure health and safety standards are maintained. Bachelor’s in ECE/Child Development is required, with 2+ years in licensed care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care center.
• Head Teacher or similar role in a licensed center with lesson planning and parent conferences.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom.
• Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children’s curiosity and help them achieve key milestones.
• Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored to children’s growth.
• Engage with and enrich children using positive language and interactive play.
• Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development.
• Closely supervise children and adhere to health and safety protocols.
